PC would occasionally restart after gaming a while

When I switch my Audigy LS card to 24bit instead of 16bit (for the "bit depth") and when I play games, it would 'occasionally' just crash and reboot itself.. sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 45 minutes (on different games)

However, if I leave it at 16bit, then this problem wouldn't occur.. Any ideas?

My guess would be on the 400w generic PSU ?? Could that be a reason ?

Oh yeahh, also CPU temp is 40C idle..

Probably just a driver issue. Going from 16 to 24 bit shouldn't affect power draw by anywhere near enough to notice.

The Audigy series isn't known for its stability.

arghh.. anyway to overcome it ??

Or should i just stick to 16bit ?? (dun realli know 16bit 24 bit, but since it is capable of 24bit, why not :P)
