I use SpeedFan, I find it easier to use than MBM5, and it also does SMART monitoring of your hard drives, along with hard drive temps.

I still think EverestHome is the best for monitoring all aspects of your system... |

I d/l Eversthome and it told me a lot of system informations. But I didnt find anything about cpu temp. Is it supposed to be on the sensor page since there is nothing there? |

looks like i have allot to try, thanks guys.
my cpu fan starts to make some serious noise when i tax my system with games like farcry & generals.
added 2x80mm fans at the front sucking air in through the front case vent, and a 120mm fan at the rear sucking air out, also have a 80mm fan on the side sucking air out, but my cpu still runs at around 60 degrees and its fan sometimes runs at 6000rpm which is just noisey.
time to change the standard cpu fan i think.

If the fan in the side panel is directly over the CPU fan, try reversing it so that it blows air in, that may get more fresher cooler air to the CPU. |

thanks guys
have tried all the software you suggested, speed fan is the best IMO. gives me complete control over my fans and real time temp' readings & bucket loads more. love it
I'll try reversing my side panel fan, it isnt that close to the cpu, but i think it'll improve air-flow.
thanks for the input
chris
