| Need help downloading file
I am with the military over in Kuwait right now and I am having a problem downloading a file. The DoD network here has blocked all access to FTP servers so I cant download the update to play Command & Conquer Generals, a buddy of mine really needs the updates to play.
I need somebody to do me a BIG favor and dowload the files and then send it to me.
Not sure but I may need the 1.07 patch from the original version of the game and also the 1.02 patch from the expansion. Here is the link for the Zero hour Patch Here is the link for regular version also
Thanks in advance

I will send them to you. I have your email address so i would reccomend editing your post and deleting it to avoid spam.
I will have to send them in 2 seperate emails but I should have them sent within 20 minutes or so. |

I just got 2 emails saying that the remote host refused to accept because they were too big. Do you have another email account that allowes 17mb files? |

you should split the files into smaller spanned archive chunks with winrar or winzip, then re-e-mail (??) them, fourthbean, old bean |

paul9's idea might be a good idea too, I have winrar if you want to try that. BTW thanks for trying to help out here.
My military email can handle 100mb attachments but I believe they block all exe and zip files. Even the simplest things become very complicated on a military computer
My time is almost up on the internet here but I'll check back in a little while, thanks. |

I split both files into 1.4mb partitions with winrar and sent each one in a seperate email. Let me know if it works. I havent gotten any refusal emails yet. |
