I just installed winxp pro on a AMD 2000 with msi board and 512mb of RAM. Well everytime Idouble click on internet explorer it creates a shortcut of internet explorer. Anybody know a solution to this or any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a single click? Did you activate the single click option?

Another person around here had the same problem the other day, cannot remember what the problem was, but I am pretty sure it was either a memory error or a virus. I will take a look around to see if I can find it.
