In MS-DOS, how do you go "up" from a folder. If I'm in C:\DOCUME~1\User\Desktop\ and I want to get back to User, is there a command to do that without having to type C:\DOCUME~1\User ? For now, this isn't a problem to retype, but when I start getting into 10 billion subfolders and I have to get out and back in, it becomes very time consuming. Also to note: pushd and popd won't save me. |

Also, in wxp dos you can finally press tabulator for it to fill the rest of the folder name automatically.
Eg. cd Pro->press tab->automatically becomes->cd "Program Files"
And, at least since w2k * works fine. So, cd prog* changes directory to c:\program files, assuming there are no other folders that start with 'prog'. |

I think there should be a space between - like this: cd .. or cd \ . M$-DOS requires delimiters, some other versions of DOS don't...
