Hello all,
Well, my notebook isn't booting for some reason. I have no idea why it isn't. The computer was working fine. I had just used Diskeeper on it to defragment the hard drive and I had ripped some music from my CD's. While I was listening to that music the computer suddenly freezes and I get an ugly BSOD right in front of my face.
I restarted the computer and it managed to boot into Windows again, but this time the computer was working REALLY slow. I knew at that point that something was wrong, so I restarted the computer once again and tried to enter Windows through safe mode. Nope, that didn't work. It just started to load and stayed there for like 20 minutes until it just restarted by itself.
I tried one more time, again with safe mode, but same thing happened once again. What is going on? I did a HDD test through the BIOS with no luck what so ever. I am really clueless, and if I don't find a solution soon, I will have to leave the computer with the school technician and I don't want to do that. Any help is highly appreciated.

What do you mean by hard drive test through the BIOS? |

Well, the BIOS has a hard drive test and I ran it.
It didn't find any problems what so ever. The HDD is fine, I guess. |

How many sticks of RAM do you have in it? If you have multiple, you can take one out at a time to see if the RAM is the culprit.

So the machine makes it through POST, but then won't boot into Windows? |

According to that link you provided, it could be either 256MB or 512MB. Have you ever added RAM to it? If not, then you have one stick. |

While booting normally it never passes the boot logo part. While booting through safe mode, it does all it's background loading but soon after lands to the boot logo part and keeps loading for a long time until it automatically reboots. |

Nope, never added RAM to this computer.
I guess it's just one stick with 512 MB RAM. |

Do you remember what the BSOD said? Did it mention a physical memory dump or unmountable boot volume? |
