I'm attempting to export Contacts from Outlook 2000 into Outlook 2003. I'm positive I've done this before. I've tried the following.
Exporting/Importing using Comma Seperated Values
Exporting/Importing using Tab Seperated Values
Exporting/Importing using a Microsoft Access mdb file.
I'm able to export/import the contacts using the Microsoft Access method without error - however, none of the contacts get transferred. So, I guess that option is useless.
I'm able to export to either CSV or TSV - but when I try to import, I get this error:
For CSV: "A file error has occurred in the Comma seperated values (Windows) translator while initializing a translator to build the field map."
For TSV "A file error has occurred in the Tab seperated values (Windows) translator while initializing a translator to build the field map."
I have no idea what that means. A Google search came up with very little, aside from a Microsoft KB article that doesn't really address this issue.
Any insight?
Thanks.
