Trying to put back together a Epox Slot A and Athlon 600, a nostalgia project.  I'm using good quality 100 mhz RAM and I've tried several different sticks as well as different vid cards and power supplies. The problem is that when I boot the computer and go to the CMOS setup the screen doesn't paint completely. I really don't see any of the selections as the whole vertical center is a blank gray. Any ideas other than a fried BIOS chip? I don't want to hear that.
