WinXp need Repair

i have a problem now with windows Xp , that's is suddenly dosen't start normally .....and it give me a mesaage saying " bad file or messing.....


if you want to reapir just restart ad insert your cd Xp installtion to reapir it ...and press "r" at the first screen in windows installtion ."

so my question now :

how can i repair windows using this idea?
and plz note that i tried it but there's nothing saying that i can reapir it when i click "r" .

and plz if you have any other idea just tell because i really need to recover this system ...and it save much time as for me .

You need to boot from the WinXP disk. You might need to change your boot order in your bios to get it to boot from cd before your hard drive.

Its on the second screen you get the option for repair, can't remember the select on the first screen but its not r

turn off your computer, insert the cd, turn it on, go to where you can choose a partition to install windows xp on, select your XP partition, and it should give you a "repair" option...
