New Computer Shuts down

I just upgraded a friends computer with

(2) 512meg Dual Channel DDR400 Kingston chips(can't find the model right now)

A coolermaster water cooled-kit

and a new Antec 380watt power supply

When I first put it together I forgot to connect the extra 12v connector to the system board. It would turn on and shut off in about 5 seconds everytime. After I plugged that in it worked fine for 2 days until last night it shut down for seemingly no reason and started turning off after 5 seconds of being on. I had him check the power connecters and then reset the bios. It worked after the reset. The water is circulating and the porocessor is running at good temps. Any idea why this would have happend and what should I do if it happens again?

Repeat the process of checking the connectors and resetting the BIOS, unless it doesn't work. Then I don't know!

try booting with a different PSU

is it possible the switch got stuck?
