That could stop it from booting.

My son, loaded the wrong Nvidia drivers, for his 6800, a while back, and it wouldn't boot

System restore actually worked for a change, and I was able to roll it back, then install the correct drivers.

I downloaded the latest Nvidia GeForce 9000 series drivers. But still it didn't work. I thought I had fixed the problem.

    Look at this video:

I am tired of this thing giving me some problems. No more buying from MicroCenter.

I have given the computer for repair to a computer person. He did some tests and took one of the dims out and said it stayed stable after that. I guess I will find out more about it tomorrow.

    Thanks for your help.

I guess my problem seems to be fixed now. It was one of the dims. So thanks for your help.

However, now I have a small hardware sound problem. Please look at the following image.

The sound isn't working. I have plugged in my speakers. downloaded the newest drivers, restarted my computer a number of times, but no avail. Why am I seeing the red arrow next to Speakers? Thanks.

Is this the site you downloaded the driver from and with the correct OS version including 32 bit or 64 bit?

    Exclamation Reply..

It may be, that someone might have tried to put something in your pc from online or its something that you have downloaded or somethings wrong with your files It may also be System32 however if you have System32 do NOT delete it, if u do it shuts down your computer COMPLETLY. you can never fix it
