| PCI SYSTEM MANAGEMENT BUS EXCLAMATION Helppppppppppp please !!!
Ive recently switched over to a new pc and im getting an exclamation in the device manager over pci system management bus and another called unknown device,
does anyone know what these are, and or how i can either get a driver or get around them. I've got a problem with my video and sound at times, i think its connected to this somehow, help please anything would be greatly appreciated.
My specs:
p4 1500mhz
win98se
256meg rd ram
40gig hdd
g-force 4 mmx

Also ive tried removing them both from the device manager but drivers are not on my system abslolutely anywhere, ahhhh i hate this. |

motherboard manufacturer.... please. Also, all devices need to be listed. Sounds like you may need to head over to the manufacturer's website and download the latest Motherboard drivers.

the chipset is i850 and its a dell the soundcard is a cmi 8738 im not sure on anything else thanx for replying |

If you haven't added any new devices and all are working well, then you need to head over to Dell and download the latest motherboard drivers. |

Try going to windowsupdate and after it scans see if any thing comes up under the hardware tab. A lot of times certain mobo drivers, onboard cards, etc. are not included in the default windows package, but a windows update will find the right ones.

Esp. with Win.98. That OS doesn't come with any of the latest chipset drivers. |
