xp not loading

Ok so I ran killdisk and after my pc restarted I put in the xp cd to load. It gave me a couple errors saying something about the killdisk sector and I x-ed out of it. After loading xp about 70% of the way it started having a lot of errors trying to copy files. So I decided to cancel the installation and restart and try it again. Well now it says NTLDR is missing. Press clt-alt-del to restart and that's all I can do.

Alright. Got it to load. We'll see if it installs.

Nope didn't install. Hangs up on the setup screen and I get setupdd.sys could not be loaded. The error code is 4. Well after visiting this site http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;330181 it looks like there may be a solution. I really, really don't want to take each pci device out and then play around to see if my hardware is compatible. Is there any other easier way of fixing this problem? I don't understand I had xp on this pc before.
