Micro Advantage CD-RW Drive

I need help. I recently bought a new burner and it burnt pics for me, but now it don't do anything. It don't recognize cd's. I try to burn anything and it says put a blank cd in, even though there is one in. I updated Nero and flashed it, but nothing is working. I run XP. Any suggestions? I have tried everything on Nero's website and even put the burner as master and the other rom as slave. Still nothing. I try to do things myself in order to learn, but i'm stumped here. Anyone have any more suggestions for me? THANKS!

but if your heart still itching, try to boot from a bootable cd,

if it's bootable and run smoothly, that maybe the problem of your windows settings

try to boot from dos with a floopy(which has cdrom support) if you dont have a bootable cd.

hope that's still alive
