IBM Netvista not loading up BIOS

I just reformatted my friend's hard drive, ready to load up XP - but now the BIOS will not load up which was originally the F11 key, now pushing that key does nothing. And keeps going into an eternal loop of No operating system found. Press F1 to repeat boot sequence, which would still result in nothing but a infinite loop.

So it turned out that it wasn't fully reformatted and there was still residue left of IBM's Rescue and Recovery crap that resulted in it. Once the drive was reformatted everything is smooth sailing.
