Internet Explorer opens at boot up

I am running Windows ME on one of my computers and just recently IE browser opens at bootup. It never use to do this I always opened it manually.
How do I make IE browser not open at boot up.

have you ran spyware checkers on it?

in general the two most useful ones are Adaware http://www.majorgeeks.com/download506.html (click on the flag)

and spybot http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2471.html

Go to Start>Run...

Then type "msconfig", without the quotes of course.

Go to Startup and find what's setting IE to startup, then uncheck it. You may have some kind of spyware/adware, I'd do some scans, and check out Hijackthis, because it's really good with processes and boot stuff.

Yes have spyware checker (spybot) will run it soon as I get on the comp thats giving the problem and will check out msconfig.
