Help!! When I was browsing this forum and ttyping in a response, my PC overheated and rebooted. Unfortunatley, I can no longer just automatically come in here. I was greeted by this bubble response(when I closed Firefox) -
XPCOM:Event Receiver:firef.exe
The file or directory/documents and settings\default\applications\data\mozzilla\firefo x\profiles\mugf1ecv.default\cookies.txtmoztmp is corrupt or unreadable. Run chkdsk.
I ran chkdsk and it did nothing. I also reinstalled 1.01 firefox. It didn't work. What should I do?
Or, when I'm in the middle of firefox, the title is simply firefox.exe-Corrupt file. Help!!
well try delteing everything in the c:\program files in firefox.
Go in to your registry and make it so as you never installed it. then try to install. 1.03

If it's a cookie, then you've aquired it from a website (such as TechIMO), and now the website is trying to run the corrupted one. It'll re-download if you delete it and hopefully your computer won't restart while downloading it.
