ok here's how it works you have a small digital SATA cable which plugs into the hdd and a spot on the motherboard (very skinny) ide has nothing to do with it...you connect your power into the hdd and boom it loads then put in your floppy load the 3rd party drivers and install windows unless your using it jst as storage if you have questions IM me at Eskimo 357Joe or email at skeltonjoe@gmail.com .... i am very good with SATA prblems having gone through practically all of them myself

im buying it after work and yea im planning on using it mainly as storage and to install games onto so it doesnt take so long to load well thats my theory anyway
