cant you connect two wifi laptops to each other?

surely you dont have to have an access point or router PC network already set up to get two laptops to talk to each other..

cant they connect directly, thus making their own network?

i have them set up for ad-hoc comp to comp...

thanx!

Yes you can. You'll need to change your wifi network configuration from "infrastructure" to "ad-hoc" (somtimes called "peer-to-peer").
