| spy ware again
alright, im sure this is like the 1,000,000 post about this. Sorry but i couldn't find anything to help me out. I got microsoft antispyware software. With the latest updates. Now every time i run the program is finds isearch.desktopsearch, virtual bouncer, transponder. abetterinternet. ceres. Now ive been told my the computer expert at the store that this will take care of all my problems. (the software+some scotty software) He also told me to quarintine the stuff instead of deleting it. So ive done what he said and it seems to work. UNTILL, i restart the computer. When i restart it and run another scan its there again. Like nothing ever happened. To give you a little background info i got a win xp compaq persario 2100 laptop. I got 2 seperate acounts. I dont know if that has something to do with it? I've already had adware and spy bot search and destroy. It ended up attacking my laptop so the guy at the shop told me not to use it and instead use the software he put on the computer. Allright, if you could help my get this spyware off my computer i'd really appreciate it. Thanks, lata

Go in safemode and run it. Also try
Ad-Aware
Spybot - Search & Destroy
To enter safemode, simply hold F8 before the windows boot screen. A menu should arise. I usually enter safemode with networking.
GOOD LUCK! |

When getting rid of spyware its best to run more than one program
I would look into using spybot or adware again. On top of that run hijack this paste your log into here http://www.hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english
Do you have XP back ability enabled still? |

safemode basically runs nothing but the barebones windows, so just go into safemode WITH NETWORKING. Then download Ad-Aware and Spybot, run a scan. They will do all of the work, remove the microsoft spyware tool i found it to be completely useless. |
