about 2 days ago, I decided to listen to an old music album. So I put it in my DVD Drive to play the CD on my PC. Near the end of the last song, it went all funny, so I took out the CD and now my drive keeps keeps ejecting itself and when I close it, it comes out again.
The only way to stop it is to hold my finger where it ejects for about 5 attempts of ejecting before it fully stops.
The CD I used is kinda old so I don't think it will have CD protection on it. Specially not when it has a flash movie presentation.
Any help?
CD I used was "Wheatus" first album. MY Drive is also a DVD writer
What I would do, is, take the drive out of your rig, and try installing it on another rig, see if it does the same thing, if it still proceeds to do that, you have a faulty drive.
Also, doubt this is it, but check all jumpers and cables in the back.
