Rebuilding Performance Counter Library values
Basically, I've got to do the following as stated at Microsoft's "trusty" KB.
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=300956
Only problem I'm having is that I can't expand the Perfc009.dat file and the Perfh009.dat file from the Windows 2000 CD-Rom.
The article states, to EXPAND such files follow "314958" HOW TO: Use the COMPRESS, COMPACT, and EXPAND Commands to Compress and Expand Files and Folders in Windows 2000. - But guess what - The link doesn't work.
Anyone know how to Expand files from the CD-Rom?
Thanks.IT Noob

One of my favorite authors, Vince Flynn, (who also happens to be a local guy) passed away from prostate cancer at 47. Good writer whose stories will be missed!
