pc wont boot
ok my pc, i jus got new PSU, 535W, i plugged it to da PC, it starts up but no signal on the motherboard, then i thought it was the video card problem, i tried it on my old pc, still da same, then i tried wit the old pcs video card, 9250 , it works on da old pc but not on the new PC, then i tried it again on da old pc it doesnt work n e more... wats da problem and how can i fix it?

what are your system's specs?
Main PC: AMD FX-8350 / 16gb DDR3 1600 / AMD 7970GE 1200mhz Core & 1600mhz Mem / Win7 Pro 64bit

have you recently installed any new hardware on it?
also, try booting with the essentials, CPU, graphics card, harddriveMain PC: AMD FX-8350 / 16gb DDR3 1600 / AMD 7970GE 1200mhz Core & 1600mhz Mem / Win7 Pro 64bit

ya tried everything and nope didnt install any new hardware, also i kinda think da AGP slot is fried now... cuz da old pc was workin fine, until i plugged da 9800pro into it..

do you realize that a 9800 pro needs its own power source and not
relay on the AGP slot for power

yes i noticed dat... rite now 9250 doesnt work aswell..

Did you plug the four pin power plug in too?

yep i did.. basically everything seems fine and all but when i turn on da pc, monitor gets no signal dats basically it... wonder wats wrong wit it... hope AGP slot aint fried.. or could CPU be fried? :EEK:

n e ways.. i jus turned on the PC hopin it would work, but instead, i started smellin a burnt smell... so i quickly turned off da pc

The burnt smell is not good, try all your components,(other than the PSU) in other machines to see if they're fried. If it is the PSU that caused this make sure you get rid of it (RMA Warrenty etc).

eh ill try my components wit my friend, but rite now im still confused wat could have caused it..
