AGP video cards are very sensitive about being properly seated. Even a tiny little bit of space or bad alignment will cause a problem. Glad you got it fixed.

i've been having this problem also. the old monitor i used has that no signal or standby problem, but the new flatscreen that i have works with the video card fine- why won't the old one work? when i started to have monitor problems prior to the flat screen, the monitor was working just fine. it only suddenly went into standby and has "been in a coma" ever since. what can i do? and why will the new monitor work when the old monitor doesnt and has nothing wrong with it?
