| space bar and h on keyboard dont work right
okay i have a dell wireless keyboard but i spilt soda on it i cleaned it up well but and wiped most of the sticky (probaly 2 late though) anyway my space bar and my h key are very sticky now and are annoying to use does anyone have any ideas on how to fix them i mounted them back exactly as they should be by factory default (IMO it may just be the button under the key) |

i'd pull the keyboard completely apart They're very simple to put back together for the most part That's my recommendation atleast (if you have a spare crappy keyboard i'd say pull that apart first and get an idea of the insides so you know what to expect...they're all very similar |

lol...it just pops off like a regular key, and then there is a metal bar that sort of holds it. just pop it off like a regular key and then slide it toward you..and the metal bar will slide out just like the enter key on the numlock pad if you'd like to try that first (atleast..usually like the enter key ) |

To get rid of sugary residue, you should use very warm (but not too hot to put your hand in) DH2O (distilled water - less than $1. a gallon at WalMart, etc. around here) and flush until it's gone. Since it was Coke and there are also some citrus and other oils, add two or three drops of detergent per cup of very warm DH2O.
. If you don't totally get rid of it, on every humid muggy day you mayl once again have sticky keys... After the residue is gone, rinse again with warm DH20 then after draining and shaking off as much of the DH20 as possible and rinse with alcohol (70% rubbing is fine) to pick up any remaining water and carry it away.
.bh.

I'd probably just unplug it, soak it with water/antibacterial goodness, and then blow dry it, and then plug it back in when it's completely dry.
Hah... Just an idea...
