Windows Log on/Direct X trouble or somthing

Im currently using WinXP and here's my problem. Previously, windows doesnt ask me to LogIn (selecting a user) before starting up, but lately everytime I restart windows it asks me to LogIn. I dont know this but there must be something to do direct x. I currently have direct x 9.0c and have installed direct x 9.0 because a game (Warhammer: Firestarter) does recognize direct x 9.0c and wont run unless direct x 9.0 is installed. So I installed it. Though I checked my direct x and it is still 9.0c.

I need you help. I want it to be the same as before in that you dont need to login everytime you restart or boot up windows.

K ill try the program, but if it still the same, I might just restore it to my previous restore point. Thanks man!

If you downloaded the .NET update, there was a username created called ASPI.NET (or something like that). This will cause your symptom. Steve's suggested download can help you fix that also if this is the case.
