Help!
I build this PC about a year ago and it's never given me any problems until now. I only open it to blow everything clean and I did that about 2 months ago, so I haven't tampered with the hardware. Earlier today I was playing a game and suddenly it just powered off. I was like "Okay, maybe it overheated." So I wait a few, unplug the power cable and wait 20 minutes. I got to turn it back on and nothing. I have lights on my case, they kick on and the fans turn for a second but then nothing. So I thought maybe the power supply was dead, I switch it out and try it again, does the exact same thing. So I put the old one back in there. I then stripped everything out of the case, blew it all clean, made absolutely sure everywhere was where it was suppose to be (I'm a nerd, I kept the manuals) and crossed my fingers and tried to start it back up. It did the exact same thing, power for just a split second then dead. Can anyone please help? I need to know what's wrong with this thing. >_< I spent so much money on it, I hate to think of it going to waste. |
