| Enabling TV out on GeForce 6600GT
I have never used TV out before and would like to use it using my new graphics card. The card is a evga e-GeForce 6600GT and I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Nvidia. Now I would just like to know how I enable TV out using my graphics. I plugged it in using an S video wire that came with the card and the other end has all sorts of female ends. So, I just use the regular yellow video plug and used a video wire to plug it in to my TV and all I get is black and white scrabbled screen.
So, can anybody help me? If you need to know than my OS is WinXP Home SP2. |

Your cord is not pushed in all the way. Push them together as hard as you can and see if a picture appears on the screen. My 6800 has that problem sometimes.

But if it is slightly out than it shows that scrabbled screen. Quote: |

I do have it in my tray, but it is actually called nView Desktop Manager and I go that and there is nothing about cloning. Here I will get a pic.
See. no clone. Any other suggestions? |

If you right click on your desktop and go to NVIDIA DISPLAY, do you see another thing to click besides ANALOG? |

I got it to work. What I did was go to the nView Desktop Manager and than I clicked on show NView Toolbar and I clicked on both toggle clone mode and toggle TV output until it worked.
Now I am just having a problem with seeing divx and xvid videos using clone mode. I got it to work in TV output, but than my computer screen is turned off. Anybody know how I can get it to work in clone mode?
PS (edited in): I guess I did need the yellow videp wire plugged in all the way.
