Hey, first off, I'm new here, so hello Anyways, recently my computer has not been able to run any MS-DOS type programs. One is just a puzzle game I've always enjoyed, and the other is a program my dad needs for work. Before this month, I was able to run them no problem but now when I try to run them, I get this screen... .
Someone told me to download a program called DOSBox. It worked for the game, but not the other program. Can someone please help me find a way to get these programs to work like they used to? Thanks in advance. |

locate the .exe, right-click > properties > compatability, in compatability mode check the box and choose win95. that might work.
or check here: http://www.dosgames.com/xphints.php

Hmm. My DOS version of Solitile (another of Kaser's games) works fine on two different WinXP machines, without doing anything special at all... |

| This has nothing to do with anything special. For what ever reason the autoexec.nt file was missing on his system and needed to be replaced. Even if the file is empty, it needs to be there. So your pc works the way it should. If you delete the autoexec.nt file you would have the same plroblem. |
