| New build stuck at boot screen
I just finished putting all my hardware into the case, moved the wires around to make it look nice, plugged in a mouse and keyboard (both new) and it's just sitting at the boot screen showing: Proactive A8V-E Deluxe
Press DEL to enter SETUP
I tried pressing delete and nothing happens. I switched my old keyobard and noting happens. I removed the Windows XP Pro CD and tried again.. nothing happens. So I dunno.. everything appears to be connected right, no smoke, and even got a nice glow coming off my video card and my nice fans. I did notice that the Temp LED on the front isn't showing anything, but that could just be because the software isn't installed and the Floppy drive light is on for some reason. Help!

Try taking out everything that you do not need, and see if it works that way. |

Keyboard USB? No. I'm in the process of trying to take off the side of the computer, but the stupid screw isn't being nice.. so give me a few. |

Not the floppy drive I guess.. I unplugged everything from it and the mobo. All I have left plugged in is this video card, HD, and DVD-RW.. along with the keyboard and mouse.
Yeah.. powered down to switch out the keyboard. |

How about my SATA HD.. the PSU had a connection for it so I plugged that in then plugged the cable from the HD to the mobo. Also, plugged in the power cable. Hehe.. throwing some stuff out there for you guys. |
