| BSoD - atkdisp
I recently turned off the auto restart feature so I could see what BSoD I get. Well, every time I get one it will always be related to the file atkdisp. The numbers that are generated seem to be dfferent each time, but it will always say atkdisp was the cause. Anyone have any idea what this file is for? I read on some of forums that it was SmartDoctor and they said to uninstall the prog, but other people have had the problem and didn't even have it installed. The BSoD usually occurs when I'm opening larger progs or have Winamp running and try to open another prog that has to access a lot of information.

| Google seems to be pointing at your Video card. From what little browsing i have done it could be the power supply and amperage on the 12 volt rail.

I believe he was refering to the make of the power supply, which looks to be ok to me. 18a on the 12 v should be ok. unless maybe you have a ton of fans and lights and such. |

Two rear fans and a lighted side fan.. CPU heatsink also, but still don't think all that is drawing tons of power. |

Wat solved the problem for me was increasing AGP Aperture size in BIOS (was 4 MB is now 256 MB). No more atkdisp BSOD's |
