New Built Computer Won't Start

Okay, i just put together this new computer of mine, this is my first build ever, i have upgraded a lot but never built one from scratch, but anyways, i got it together, and i power it up, and it seems fine for a few seconds, all the fans come on and such, but then it starts beeping at me, one beep for bout 2-3 seconds, then a second just bout 1 second long, then i also notice the num lock and caps lock lights on my keyboard blink once, but i have no idea what it could be, i have my moniter plugged in, but nothing shows up on the screen, at first i thought i put ram in wrong or something, so i took all the ram out just to see how it reacts, and i noticed the beeping starts much sooner after the power up, and the beeps go on and off forever, so im stumped

Could be your g/card is not properly seated in you mobo.
I have had simular problems with my computer beeping like that, and it was
my g/card.

Main thing is to make sure eveything is pluged in correctly

Look in the manual for the motherboard, online if you dont have it, look for error codes. It will tell you what the beeps mean. I could be anything from a damaged controller on the board to defective RAM.

Okay, new problem, i start up the comp and it beeps once, a real short one, and a screen pops up on my monitor asking me to press a key to either go into bios or to go into POST, but none of the keys on my keyboard will work, i know the keyboard works, and all the lights turn on it at the begginning, but it's no go, at first i kinda figured since it just beeped once and a real short one, that was just a normal boot up beep, but if it isnt, the site says that the beep means "DRAMS refresh failure " but i have no idea what that means, any help... again?

If it's asking you to press one of the F keys make sure your F-lock is on. I had a keyboard that drove me nuts with the same problem you are having.

Is that ps2 keyboard? no an usb? Then check pins if they are not bent or broken
If it is USB keyboad swap it for ps2 keyboard to see if this works

it says push tab to go to POST or push del to go to BIOS, but it's a ps/2 keyboard, and i can turn the caps lock lights and stuff on and off, and the computer will click at my after a while if i hold a key down, so i can only assume that the keyboard is workin fine

Try holding DEL down earlier. as soon as you start and hold it.
A trick that works with some boards, is to remove one stick of memory, and boot up. some boards will go into the BIOS automatically, or at least give you a choice again.
