Free Boot Loader?

is there any free bootloaders (i think theyre called)

like where you can select which partition to boot to

im making ....

C:/ ---> Windows XP
D:/ ---> Mandrake

Mandrake comes with a boot loader.

Mandrake comes with Grub there is also Lilo which you can download

Ditto the others. Lilo and Grub are the most common boot loaders in the Linux realm. Most good distros will set up your partitions for you and install a boot loader. Some of them even give you the choice of boot loader programs during the install process.
