dell dimension 2400

i am trying to reinstall the OS on a demension 2400 and i'm not able to access the bios so that it will boot from the cd rom drive..
does anyone know how i could get into the bios..

F2 or F12. F2 i believe it is though!

F2 will get you into system setup. Or you can use F12, which is the one-time boot menu, from which you can select the CD drive.

You should normally have the CD as your FIRST boot device in system setup. So once you set this, leave it there permanently.
