Help Can't access Documents And Settings

Hi guys i have this little problem here about Documents And Settings, my other compuyer wont boot giving me blue screen error when booting up, error said something about check for viruses/ run chkdsk /f . now cause i am in a rush to get some files out of the other computer i took off the hardrive and put it on my other computer as a slave so i can get the files i needed, now my problem is everytimes i go to Documents And Setting then Desktop a windows popup up saying i cannot access this directory/folder, is there any other way around this? i really need to take the files out.

Did you have your personal settings protected?
You should still be able to right click on them and go to security, then go to advanced and choose to inherit from the parent permissions as well as replace permissions for all entries and choose permissions for administrators and do this for any other file or folder that isn't responding. If not run system repair.

no go on the first part i did repair sis not encouter blue screen error but PC randomly restarts after windows logo apear
