I have an MSI k8n sli platinum mobo andi've been having this porblem recently.
I recently sold one of my graphics card and decided to go back to stick to one graphics card, I then decided to change the sli card to non sli mode, but after i did that the screen just completley goes blank and the only way to fix that is to swich the sli card back to sli mode.
I have a feeling that this might damage my graphics card.
I re-installed windows and the graphics driver amd resteded cmos but the problem was still there.
I contacted msi and they kept on telling me to go to bio settings and go to sli broadcast apreature section, but i don't have that feature on my bio settings.
can any1 plz tell me if runnin one graphics card while running on sli mode damages the graphics card as im going to buy a new expensive graphics card and dont want to risk that one.
I'd be grateful if any1 can give me some information or anything to solve this problem
