I keep getting this dreadful error
Ok so yesterday, some of you know i had to reformat my other computer, and now today, as i boot up, i've gotten every error known to man for windows XP, but the most reacuring is the "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT" so could anyone perhaps help me, cause with this error i cannot boot up, and i really dont want to have to reformat again
AMD Athlon 2200+@1.930Ghz(It's OC'd to a 2400)
768MB PC3200 DDR-SDRAM| 278gb(3 hdd)
nVidia 6200 256MB AGP gfx card

Sounds like a memory problem, sucka.

i read that and to no avail, because it doesnt even boot up as in it'll begin to load but since my comp's a p.o.s it takes a few breaks between loading screens, so around the second load it'll pop up with this error

is anything overclocked while the problem comes up?

nothing is oc'd but recently i up'd my 1.33GHz to 1.36Ghz!!! jk, but seriously no, and i did fix the problem, it seems all i needed to do was run Debug mode and do a CHDisk Scan
