Help ... About Multimedia Audio Controller

My computer got problem about multimedia audio controller.. The manf of my sound card is VIA . After got this problem i have downloaded the Vinyl_audiocodec from VIA web sites . All my Audio codec is functioned but the multimedia audio controller still not function !!! can somebody help me !!?!?! ???

Hi Blue, what operating system are you using? By multimedia audio controller, are you talking about your multimedia player, or your sound card? If you are talking about your card, do you have the latest drivers? If you are talking about your mutimedia player, have you checked your sound settings in the control panel?

My os is Windows XP . It about my sound card . my first drivers that function is uninstall by my brother. now i try download it back from VIA web sites . but it still got problem !!!!

Go into device manager..start/settings/control panel/system/click on hardware tab/click on device manager....then see if there is a yellow mark showing next to the card. Click on the card to highlight the card, and select to remove it, then reboot and see if XP will recognize it. If you have a disk with the latest VIA driver, then have it ready.
