nero cdr problems

hope somebody can help,I am using the latest Nero software,(to try and solve this),but when I download music tracks to burn,I check they play ok,then burn them,but when I replay the cd(in computer and HiFi), I have skipping tracks,not in all of them but with annoying regularity,about 3 out of 9,
tried different speeds,different CDrs,different recorder,tried burning with Windows Media player,but noticed it used Nero plugin,but it is still the same outcome,sofar today 4 coasters made,
can anybody help?

How about your hardware details? System and OS, and the model of your drive for starters. And of course, what media (brand and speed)?

I presume Nero is not reporting anything but "all's well"? Just to confirm, this is Nero 7 Ultra? Or if not, what?

Memory 1.5Gb
Drives 1)LG GSA-4160B
2)NU CDRW/DVD DBW-521

Windows XP with SP2

have found Sonic software givien with one of the drives just about to instal and try it,

Do your system maintenance such as scandisc and defrag where a fragmented drive is probably the culprit. That is a usual fix for this kind of a thing.

Don't do anything else while you're burning. Turn off any unnecessary programs in the background and just do the burn.
