Monitor Turned off and chipset questions (pic)

1) I was using Cinema 4D (3D modeling program) making a model, talking to various friends on MSN and listening to music on Winamp when all of a sudden my monitor switched to standby. Music was still playing and stuff. I looked around the power settings etc and couldn't find a reason why it did this. Any help on this?

2) I went to my motherboards website (gigabyte) just now and they got this website updator program so I thought I'd run it just to see if I need anything. it came up with a buncha stuff. I thought installing the latest Nvidia's nForce would cover everything I needed. Am I wrong here?




Thats what it says, do I actually need these or did the nVidia nForce 3 chipset drivers cover it?

You probably have Power Manager enabled, in the BIOS, if so, just go in the BIOS and disable it.

Not sure what that display that you put up is about, but I guess you could click on the install buttons, on there, and see if it downloads the drivers.

those dont look like drivers for your chipset but who knows
