    DVD-RAM Disk problem

Hi i just wen't an bought some new DVD-Ram disks, I burn't a .avi movie to it using Nero Burner 6.6. And tried playing it in my DVD player it did'nt work i've now found out that it just isn't that simple, So i tried to erare the CD and it failed... however it still deleted the files... but now when i hover my mouse over the dvd burner with the erased cd in, It says "0 capacity" and "0 used"

    ????

I then tried using the DVD erased again it now fails every time, and appears as "Type: RAW" i tried to burn other files to do DVD Ram disk and it works... lets say the file sive was 1mb, it would say "1mb used" and "1mb capacity" i try to format the DVD using the right click and format... but it fails ... Is theer ANYWAY to fully recover this CD? because its still allowing me to write to it, even tho its saying 0 capacity?

    Please help!
