dell latitude cpx keyboard problem

I have recently purchased a used dell latitude cpx Pentium III and installed windows xp home and have had keyboard issues...the T,Y,and left shift keys work off and on. Can anybody help me with the possible problem? this laptop also has windows 2000 installed as well...but the problem shows up on both Operating systems. If anybody could offer any advice i would apreciate it..

How much coffee did it drink?
You could try for a new kb on eBay.

Mmmm... Free eBay coffee! Score!
You could try some isopropyl alcohol to rinse the kb in case it was a spillage, but remove it from the computer first, and let it dry thoroughly before use. Use a tub which holds the keyboard comfortably, put plenty of the alcohol in, and agitate the kb in there to clean it. Use a high purity/concentration brand of isopropyl.

You could try calling Dell Spare parts for a replacement. Very easy to swap in a new keyboard. I hope it was cheap.
