I recently bought a ASUS P4P800SE motherboard and tried installing a Mobile P4 CPU (3.2ghz). I keep getting an error "Intel CPU uCode Error". Upon doing some google searching, I found that I need to roll back bios for it to work. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Also, will it harm the motherboard? Thanks in advance.
It's just like a BIOS upgrade, find out what previous BIOS version # you need , download it from Asus and install it with the program made for your BIOS, also downloadable from Asus.
Did the artical you read give you the version number you need?
