more RAM

I am running an Athlon 750 MHZ overclocked to 825 MHZ. I have Windows XP Pro and am only running on 128 megs of PC-133 SDRAM. Its an Epox 7KXA board with KX-133 chipset. If I add another 128 meg stick, will I notice a performance increase? It doesnt do bad now, but was just wondering..... Thanks..

Yes, 128mb is the minimum required according to M$. But according to most users you need at least 256mb. If you can afford it I would be looking to add 256 or 512 to the 128 you have now.

Ya, your best bet is to raise the ram amount to 512mb, if possible.

Any particular reason you are running XP on that rig? Win2000 would be less of a resource hog and run smoother for it.

I hate to add another useless entry that prolly doesnt need to be entered, but going from 128 to 512 will make you feel like you have a new computer. Go for the gold. This information is based on my experience.
