CS:Source Can't Connect to Any Servers...

Well I dunno whats wrong with my computer but I cannot play CS: Source.
I can refresh servers and when i try to connect, It fails after 4 attempts. Everything works fine but i dunno whats wrong.
Could it be that my firewall program is blocking? I have ZoneAlarm Security Suite...

A lot of people have been having this problem since the latest update. Check to make sure you're attempting to connect to a CS: Source server, instead of a CS 1.6 server. For some reason the update caused regular Counter-strike servers to show up when you try to search for just CS:S ones. Pretty annoying, but this is probably the case. Hopefully Valve fixes it soon.

Yeah, I missed it until after a few tries I noticed I was trying to connect to non-source servers lol. I'm so used to just being shown CS:S servers only.

Yes...and I am one of the POed people about it!!! Many of the servers where I get 12 and below latency on with a lot of people playing on gives me trouble now...I'm happy to see that it isn't just me...

I was going to begin troubleshooting my network in many ways to solve the problem...I am going to still check more into it though.

Right Click the Steam icom on your taskbar, go to Servers, Change Filters, and select CS: Source, Refresh All, let it go, open up CS: Source, and now only CS: Source servers will appear.
