PC wont regocnise Harddrive

Helloo,

I just finished formatting my computer, after it logged on, my 2nd harddrive doesnt show in My computer, although it is recognised while it boots up, 'secondary IDE harddrive...OK'.

I tried turning it on with and without the 2nd harddrive attached, but no difference, sill doesnt show.

How about your system model? Does the second drive show up in disk management?

I know this sounds kind of anal, but I always disconnect my second drive when reinstalling.

Yep, its says...
'primary IDE Harddrive...OK'----------WinXp
'secondary IDE harddrive...OK'------Malfunctioned Hdd

It also shows them both in device manager, with no reported problems.
