XP Startup Problem

Recently, I have been unable to start up windows into anything but Safe mode (what I'm in right now, actually). When I do try to regularly start it up, I usually get this error message:

driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

*** stop:0x000000d1(0x00000004,0x00000002,0x00000000,0 xf7sc57d8)

*** atapi.sys_adress 575C57d8 base at F746E000, datestamp 41107b4d

Either that, or the error message is irql_not_less_or_equal and there's no mention of atapi.sys. I have already tried to roll back the driver, but the time I tried I was unable to because no previous versions of the driver were installed.

I would greatly appreciate some help here, safe mode doesnt allow me to do much of anything..

Did you make any changes to your hardware? Also give us some specs of your computer to go on by.
