recorder isn't recording  | | |

i'm trying to use sound recorder , but i can't record. it keeps saying that i have some other application open, but i dont think i do. i posted this before, and i have a question. the person said to check and see , how can i check and see if there is an application going? i'll love if somebody atleast come in here and help me out. THANKS ! |

It just says "some other application" is open? Can you be more specific? Since you didn't mention your OS, I'll assume it's XP. Hit ctrl-alt-del and check your processes in task manager.

No sweat. 
It's the window that is brought up when you hit ctrl-alt-del...it will have a few tabs at the top such as applications, processes, performance, etc. Have you tried hitting ctrl-alt-del yet? | |

Sorry , it says : Another application is recording audio. Stop recording with this other application and then try sound recorder later.
