I have the Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse. I really like them for the most part. But there are times when the mouse starts acting on its own and after that the scroll and back buttons on the mouse won't work. I have to reboot if I want those things to work. The keyboard never has given me a problem. |

Hey guys this is legit.. I know two people with legit problems.. one of my best friend's told me her son has a cordless Logitech mouse that won't work with Windows 2K and my boss told me yesterday he had the same problem ever since he bought it. The Cordless keyboard works fine but the corrdless mouse won't do anything right? |

Just wanted to say that my cordless trackball is working nicely again after replacing the battery. You also might want to look at Logitech's site, and check the tech support docs they have there.
I keep thinking it's kinda funny how your mouse (cursor) actually disappears from the screen. Normally, if I ever accidentially unplug a mouse, the cursor remains on the screen, but it can't move. |

| sMoKiE,
Looks like my mouse is having a problem also. Was working fine with the PS/2 - USB adapter. After I plugged in my serial cable for my UPS, the mouse has completely disappeared from the system. Going to find out where it went ...
Note: Just rebooted, and it's back. This is a dumb question because I can't find if you answered it already, but how's your mouse connected?
I keep noticing with mine, if I move around the adapter, it works. |

Ah ok, so you don't even need the adapter.
I couldn't even get mine to work with the USB initially. That's why it's in the PS/2 now. I also have a receiver for my ATI AIW card's remote, and that's USB. Not sure if that interferes with the signal. Currently the trackball's behaving. Keeps sounding like a signal problem of some form. If I can think of anything else to try I'll post back. |
