No Sound

Hi really wierd problem with my sister's computer. Iv just reformated the hard drive and installed windows and all drivers. The sound card drivers are installed and all cables are pluged in but there isnt any sound at all.

The problem happend last nigth when my brother unpluged the 2 USB ports on the front of her case (they didnt work) from the motherboard. He couldnt fix it and asked me to have a look at it. The OS didnt load up when i restarted the computer somthing about a croupt file so thats why i reformated.
Anyone shed any ligth on this problem ?

be sure you didn't hook up the usb to the spot for the front panel audio...that could be confusing it

The usb's arent installed and nethier is the sound device. (for the front USB/sound Port's)

Where did you get the sound card driver from?
